Background

LR3 IGF1 (Long R3 Insulin-like Growth Factor 1) is a modified insulin-like growth factor 1 (IGF-1) with long-lasting biological activity. Compared with natural IGF-1, LR3 IGF1 introduces an amino acid mutation into its molecular structure, which prolongs its half-life in the body and enhances its biological activity and stability.

LR3 IGF1 mainly binds to the IGF-1 receptor on the cell surface and activates multiple signaling pathways, including the PI3K/Akt and MAPK pathways, thereby promoting cell growth, differentiation and survival. This makes LR3 IGF1 an important tool in cell culture and biomedical research for promoting cell growth and proliferation, particularly in in vitro tissue engineering and cell therapy.

Due to its enhanced biological activity and extended half-life, LR3 IGF1 has also been studied for use in some growth-related diseases and disease models. However, its clinical application still requires more in-depth research and careful consideration to
ensure its safety and effectiveness.
