Product Overview
Description | Recombinant Human Interleukin-17 Receptor C is produced by our Mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Leu21-Ala454 is expressed with a human IgG1 Fc tag at the C-terminus. |
Accession | Q8NAC3-3 |
Synonym | Interleukin-17 receptor C; IL-17 receptor C; IL17RC; IL17Rhom; IL-17RL; ZcytoR14 |
Gene Background | IL-17 receptor C (IL-17 RC, also known as IL-17 RL and IL-17 Rhom) is a member of the IL-17 receptor family. The IL-17 receptor (IL-17R) subfamily includes IL-17RA, IL-17RB, IL-17RC, IL-17RD, and IL-17RE. IL-17RC and addresses its contribution to IL-17 signal transduction with reference to IL-17RA. The IL-17RA co-immunoprecipitates with IL17RC in a ligand-dependent manner, raising the possibility that the ligand-dependent loss of FRET between IL-17RA subunits results from oligomerization with IL-17RC. The initial discovery of IL-17RC was based on its high levels of expression in human prostate cancer cells. It's reported that crystal structure of the IL-17RC: IL17F complex provides a structural basis for IL-17F signaling through IL-17RC, with potential therapeutic applications for respiratory allergy and inflammatory bowel diseases. |
