Product Overview
Tag | His |
Host Species | Human |
Accession | NP_006496.3 |
Synonym | PVR, CD155, HVED, NECL5, Necl-5, PVS, TAGE4, poliovirus receptor, PVR cell adhesion molecule |
Background | CD155 is a Type I transmembrane glycoprotein in the immunoglobulin superfamily. Commonly known as Poliovirus Receptor (PVR) due to its involvement in the cellular poliovirus infection in primates, CD155's normal cellular function is in the establishment of intercellular adherens junctions between epithelial cells. The role of CD155 in the immune system is unclear, though it may be involved in intestinal humoral immune responses. |
Description | A DNA sequence encoding the human CD155 isoform a (NP_006496.3) extracellular domain (Met 1-Asn 343) was fused with a His tag at the C-terminus. |
Source | HEK293 |
Predicted N Terminal | Trp 21 |
AA Sequence | Met 1-Asn 343 |
Molecular Weight | The recombinant human CD155 consists of 334 amino acids and has a predicted molecular mass of 36.5 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, the rhCD155/Fc monomer migrates as approximately 60-65 kDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions. |
Purity | Greater than 97% as determined by SDS-PAGE |
Endotoxin | < 1.0 EU per μg of the protein as determined by the LAL method |
Bioactivity | Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized human CD155 at 2 ug/ml (100 ul/well) can bind human DNAM1 with a linear ranger of 1.28-32 ng/ml. |
Formulation | Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.5 |
Stability | Recombinnat Proteins are stable for up to 1 year from date of receipt at -70°C |
Usage | For Research Use Only |
Storage | Store recombinant protein under sterile conditions at -20°C to -80°C. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |
