Background | CD69 is a type 2 transmembrane glycoprotein which belongs to the C-typelectin family. CD69 is a very early activation Ag of T lymphocytes. The expressionof CD69 is induced upon activation of T lymphocytes, and CD69 takes part inproliferation. Moreover, CD69 acts to transmit signals in natural killer cellsas well as platelets. CD69 functions in the pathogenesis of allergen induced eosinophilicairway inflammation and responsiveness. Among the diseases which are associatedwith CD69: cd3gamma deficiency and mast cell disease. |
Description | CD69 expressed in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 147a.a. (62-199a.a.) andhaving a molecular weight of 17.0kDa.(Molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear atapproximately 18-28kDa).CD69 is expressed with a 6a.a. His tag atC-Terminus and purified by unique purification methods. |
