Product Overview
Description | Recombinant Human CD99 Antigen-like Protein 2 is produced by our Mammalian expression system and the target gene encoding Asp26-Ala188 is expressed with a human IgG1 Fc tag at the C-terminus. |
Accession | Q8TCZ2 |
Synonym | CD99 Antigen-Like Protein 2; MIC2-Like Protein 1; CD99; CD99L2; MIC2L1 |
Gene Background | CD99 Antigen-Like Protein 2 (CD99L2) belongs to the CD99 family. CD99L2 is a single-pass type I membrane protein and expressed in many tissues, with low expression in thymus. CD99L2 plays a role in a late step of leukocyte extravasation helping cells to overcome the endothelial basement membrane. CD99L2 and CD99 are involved in trans-endothelial migration of neutrophils in vitro and in the recruitment of neutrophils into inflamed peritoneum. A similar protein in mouse functions as an adhesion molecule during leukocyte extravasation. Alternate splicing results in multiple transcript variants. |

Reconstitution | Always centrifuge tubes before opening. Do not mix by vortex or pipetting. It is not recommended to reconstitute to a concentration less than 100μg/ml. Dissolve the lyophilized protein in distilled water. Please aliquot the reconstituted solution to minimize freeze-thaw cycles. |
Storage | Lyophilized protein should be stored at ≤ -20°C, stable for one year after receipt. Reconstituted protein solution can be stored at 2-8°C for 2-7 days. Aliquots of reconstituted samples are stable at ≤ -20°C for 3 months. |
Shipping | The product is shipped at ambient temperature. Upon receipt, store it immediately at the temperature listed below. |
