Product Overview
Tag | His |
Host Species | Human |
Synonym | Lymphotoxin-alpha, LT-alpha, TNF-beta, Tumor necrosis factor ligand superfamily member 1, LTA, LT, TNFB, TNFSF1. |
Background | Lymphotoxin alpha, a member of the tumor necrosis factor family, is a cytokine expressed by lymphocytes. LTA is highly inducible, secreted, and exists as homotrimeric molecule. LTA forms heterotrimers with lymphotoxin-beta which anchors lymphotoxin-alpha to the cell surface. LTA mediates a large variety of inflammatory, immunostimulatory, and antiviral responses. LTA is also involved in the formation of secondary lymphoid organs during development and plays a role in apoptosis. |
Description | Tumor Necrosis Factor-beta Human Recombinant expressed in Sf9 Baculovirus cells is a single, glycosylated polypeptide chain containing 180a.a. (35-205a.a.) and having a molecular weight of 19.7kDa (Molecular size on SDS-PAGE will appear at approximately 18-28kDa).TNFB is fused with a 6a.a. His tag at C-Terminus and purified by unique purification methods. |
