Product Overview
Tag | His |
Host Species | Mouse |
Accession | NP_081790.1 |
Synonym | PVR, CD155, HVED, NECL5, Necl-5, PVS, TAGE4, poliovirus receptor, PVR cell adhesion molecule |
Background | CD155 is a Type I transmembrane glycoprotein in the immunoglobulin superfamily. Commonly known as Poliovirus Receptor (PVR) due to its involvement in the cellular poliovirus infection in primates, CD155's normal cellular function is in the establishment of intercellular adherens junctions between epithelial cells. The role of CD155 in the immune system is unclear, though it may be involved in intestinal humoral immune responses. |
Description | A DNA sequence encoding the mouse CD155 (NP_081790.1) precursor (Met 1-Arg 345) was produced with a C-terminal His tag. |
Source | HEK293 |
Predicted N Terminal | Gly 28 |
AA Sequence | Met 1-Arg 345 |
Molecular Weight | The secreted recombinant mouse CD155 generated after removal of the signal peptide comprises 329 amino acids with a predicted molecular mass of 28 kDa. As a result of glycosylation, it migrates as an approximately 60-65 kDa band in SDS-PAGE under reducing conditions. |
Purity | Greater than 97% as determined by SDS-PAGE |
Endotoxin | < 1.0 EU per μg of the protein as determined by the LAL method |
Bioactivity | Measured by its ability to bind recombinant mouse CD226/DNAM-1.Immobilized recombinant mouse CD155/PVR at 1 ug/ml (100 ul/well) can bind recombinant mouse CD226/DNAM-1 with a linear range of 0.78-100 ng/ml. |
Formulation | Lyophilized from sterile PBS, pH 7.4 |
Stability | Recombinnat Proteins are stable for up to 1 year from date of receipt at -70°C |
Usage | For Research Use Only |
Storage | Store recombinant protein under sterile conditions at -20°C to -80°C. It is recommended that the protein be aliquoted for optimal storage. Avoid repeated freeze-thaw cycles. |
