Product Overview
Tag | His |
Host Species | Rhesus |
Accession | NP_001036851.1 |
Synonym | PVR, CD155, HVED, NECL5, Necl-5, PVS, TAGE4, poliovirus receptor, PVR cell adhesion molecule |
Background | CD155 is a Type I transmembrane glycoprotein in the immunoglobulin superfamily. Commonly known as Poliovirus Receptor (PVR) due to its involvement in the cellular poliovirus infection in primates, CD155's normal cellular function is in the establishment of intercellular adherens junctions between epithelial cells. The role of CD155 in the immune system is unclear, though it may be involved in intestinal humoral immune responses. |
Description | A DNA sequence encoding the rhesus PVR (NP_001036851.1) extracellular domain (Met 1-Asn 343) was produced with a C-terminal His tag. |
Source | HEK293 |
Predicted N Terminal | Asp 28 |
AA Sequence | Met 1-Asn 343 |
Molecular Weight | The recombinant rhesus PVR consists of 327 amino acids and has a calculated molecular mass of 35.8 kDa. |
Purity | Greater than 98% as determined by SDS-PAGE |
Endotoxin | < 1.0 EU per μg of the protein as determined by the LAL method |
Bioactivity | Measured by its binding ability in a functional ELISA. Immobilized Rhesus CD155 at 2 ug/ml (100 ul/well) can bind human CD226 with a linear ranger of 1.28-32 ng/ml. |
