Background | STK32A or serine/threonine kinase 32A (also known as YANK1) is a highly conserved gene in many species (1). STK32A is a member of the YANK family that also contains STK32B and STK32C. STK32A contains a catalytic domain and metal ion binding domain and is involved in the phosphorylation of serine and threonine residues on various protein substrates. A number of sequence variants have been identified that are shorter with distinct C-terminus (2). The function of this protein is not yet clear. |
Description | Full-length recombinant mouse STK32A (YANK1) was produced by baculovirus in Sf9 insect cells, fused with a GST tag at N-terminus. This protein is purified with our unique purification methods. |
